National Hunt only. An oval track of approximately a mile and a quarter, with sharp bends and a run-in of 150 yards (chases) and 200 yards (hurdles) from the final obstacle. There is a steady climb from the final turn up the home straight. The fences are generally regarded as being a little tricky, and it’s a venue that often favours the handy, sharp-actioned animal.
