Draw:
Stages racing both on the flat and over jumps. A very sharp, left-handed oval track, the Flat course is only nine furlongs in circumference, and the five-furlong track is all downhill.
The jumping circuit is ten furlongs, with a fairly long run-in of 240 yards. It is a good course for front-runners, and the fences are quite stiff. Established in 1783, this traditional course is not known for the high quality of racing but a warm and friendly atmosphere is always in attendance.
